Vault’s Vampire: The Masquerade Sinks Its Teeth Back Into Print With Blood-Soaked Compact Edition
Vault Comics is heading back into the shadows with Vampire: The Masquerade: The Complete Compact Edition, bringing its acclaimed World of Darkness saga back into print in one affordable, blood-packed collection.
The graphic novel arrives in comic shops on August 31, 2026, followed by bookstores on September 1. Based on White Wolf’s legendary tabletop role-playing game, the collection gives longtime Kindred and curious newcomers a chance to experience the entire story without hunting down individual issues like somebody scrambling for shelter five minutes before sunrise. [3]
This beast collects all ten issues of Vampire: The Masquerade, Winter’s Teeth, along with the complete three-issue World of Darkness: Crimson Thaw crossover. That is thirteen issues of vampire politics, supernatural warfare, personal betrayal, and enough backstabbing to make a Brooklyn block association meeting look peaceful. [6]
Winter’s Teeth was written by Tim Seeley with artwork by Devmalya Pramanik. The collection also features the “Anarch Tales” backup stories written by Tini Howard and Blake Howard, with artwork by Nathan Gooden. Crimson Thaw expands the conflict beyond the Kindred, with Seeley joined by Jim Zub and Danny Lore, while Julius Ohta handles the artwork.
Vault CCO and Editor-in-Chief Adrian Wassel praised the creative team for capturing both the humanity and horror at the center of the World of Darkness. From the complicated relationship between Cecily and Ali to the untamed rage of the Garou, the combined creative crew built a supernatural version of the Twin Cities that feels dangerous, lived-in, and ready to bite anybody foolish enough to wander around after dark.
Vault CEO Damian Wassel has an even deeper connection to the property, having played Vampire: The Masquerade since middle school. He described working within the World of Darkness as an honor and credited the all-star team with delivering a clever, horrifying, and genuinely fun addition to the franchise’s lore.
Fans have apparently been calling for Winter’s Teeth to return to print, and Vault is not stopping with this compact edition. The publisher and White Wolf plan to reveal details later this year about an all-new Vampire: The Masquerade comic series launching in 2027.
So yeah, the Kindred are back, the blood is fresh, and Vault is clearly preparing to open the crypt even wider. Keep the lights low, lock the door, and maybe do not invite any suspiciously pale strangers inside. You already know how that movie ends.
