Frontman Jacoby Shaddix says the song hits deep on a personal level.
“Wake Up Calling is a song about standing on the edge of disaster—being pulled back from the brink and choosing love over self-destruction,” Shaddix explains. “It’s one of the most raw and emotional songs we’ve written in this new era.”
The track was produced by Colin Brittain (Linkin Park, All Time Low, A Day To Remember) and serves as the third single from Papa Roach’s upcoming album, the follow-up to their 2022 release EGO TRIP, which is set to drop later this year.
