IDINA MENZEL JOINS NEW YORK COMIC CON 2026 FOR SPOTLIGHT PANEL, AUTOGRAPHS & PHOTO OPS

New York Comic Con 2026 just added another major name to an already stacked guest list, and this one is going to hit especially hard for Broadway fans, Disney fans and anybody who has had Wicked or Frozen living rent-free in their playlist for the last decade.

ReedPop has announced that Idina Menzel will appear at NYCC on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York City. Menzel is scheduled to take part in a spotlight panel along with autograph and photo-op opportunities, giving fans a chance to see one of Broadway and film’s most recognizable voices in person.

Menzel joins a growing 2026 guest lineup that already includes Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid from Star Wars, Lena Headey, Matt Smith, Jamie Campbell Bower, and legendary puppeteers Matt Vogel and Dave Goelz. Translation: NYCC is clearly not playing around with its 20th anniversary year.

For longtime fans, Menzel’s appearance brings together several corners of fandom at once. She is forever tied to Elphaba in Wicked, Elsa in Disney’s Frozen franchise, and a career that has crossed Broadway, film, television and music. That makes her a natural fit for an event that has long expanded far beyond comics into every lane of pop culture.
