Submissions for INDIE Live Expo 2026 Winter are officially open, and indie developers looking for serious global exposure might want to stop scrolling and pay attention.
FUEGO! INDIE Live Expo is loading up its winter edition for Tuesday, December 1, 2026, and if you have been grinding on a game you genuinely believe deserves more eyes on it, this is your shot. Not next month. Not when the build is “a little more polished.” The submission window is open right now, and developers who want in need to get their trailers, gameplay footage, and application together before that deadline comes flying at them like a boss attack they forgot to dodge.
This is not some random livestream where your game gets buried between somebody’s webcam intro and fifteen minutes of technical problems. INDIE Live Expo has reportedly generated more than 100 million views since launching in 2020, giving indie developers a legit worldwide platform to put their games in front of players who are actively looking for something new.
The showcase regularly features upcoming indie releases, world premieres, major announcements, updates, and games that might otherwise get swallowed alive by the constant AAA marketing machine. If your project has something different going for it, whether that is killer gameplay, a wild art style, a smart mechanic, or just one of those concepts that makes people go, “Yo, what the hell is THAT?”, this is exactly the kind of showcase you want watching your back.
Independent developers and publishers can submit games now for consideration in what will be INDIE Live Expo’s 15th showcase. Applicants will need to provide a 30-second trailer along with a 15-second gameplay video, so please, for the love of gaming, make those seconds count.
Nobody wants thirty seconds of logos fading onto the screen while dramatic music plays and absolutely nothing happens. Show the damn game. Show what makes it fun. Show people why they should care.
The submission deadline is Monday, September 28, 2026 at 7:59 PM PDT, which is Tuesday, September 29 at 4:59 AM CEST. Do not be that developer trying to upload a giant video file with three minutes left while your internet suddenly decides it hates you.
One of the returning features is the INDIE Waves segment, powered by Cygames. This rapid-fire showcase is expected to feature more than 80 games back-to-back, making it a straight-up indie gaming buffet for anybody hunting for their next obsession.
The main broadcast will also simulcast across platforms including YouTube, X, Twitch, Steam, Niconico, and Bilibili, giving participating games multiple ways to reach players instead of being trapped on one platform hoping the algorithm feels generous that day.
The entire showcase will also be presented in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, which is a pretty damn big deal for smaller developers trying to reach players outside their home market without having AAA-sized marketing money sitting around.
INDIE Live Expo is organized and produced by Ryu’s Office, a Japan-based company specializing in marketing for smartphone, console, arcade, and PC games. Over the years, the showcase has featured more than 3,300 different indie titles, building itself into one of the bigger digital stages dedicated specifically to independent gaming.
For developers, that means this is not just about tossing your trailer into another online event and praying somebody notices. INDIE Live Expo has built an audience specifically interested in discovering new games, and that kind of targeted exposure can matter a hell of a lot when you are fighting for attention in an industry where thousands of new titles are constantly hitting storefronts.
If your game is ready to be seen, get your materials together and submit it through the INDIE Live Expo Official Website at https://live-expo.games.
Your game cannot catch fire if nobody knows the damn thing exists.
FUEGO.
