GTA VI Launch Trailer Brings Vice City Heat and a Justice Soundtrack Reveal

FUEGO! Rockstar has dropped the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer, putting Jason, Lucia and Vice City back in the spotlight ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026 arrival on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The new footage is live on Rockstar’s official website, so there is no need to chase a questionable upload through somebody’s reaction thread.

The setup is a criminal partnership under pressure. Rockstar says an apparently straightforward score goes wrong, leaving Jason and Lucia caught in a conspiracy stretching across Leonida. That gives the trailer a clear emotional center: two people depending on each other while their situation gets increasingly dangerous. Pretty skylines are nice. A partnership with something to lose gives those skylines a little more weight.

The music announcement deserves its own volume knob. In its October 15 Newswire update, Rockstar identifies electronic duo Justice as the game’s original-score composers. The trailer introduces their standalone single “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That is a substantial collision of musical audiences around one release.

The track also appears on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Rockstar says the soundtrack is available to pre-save on streaming services and preorder on vinyl and CD, with further information about the music and a separate official score album still to come. A featured single, a soundtrack collection and an original score are related pieces, not interchangeable labels.

The Verge reports that the approximately 90-second trailer was captured entirely on PS5. Treat it as a concentrated cinematic preview rather than a replacement for August’s longer extended look. A trailer can establish atmosphere and character stakes without answering every question about how the finished game plays.

The confirmed takeaway is straightforward: new official footage, a major music reveal and November 19 still on the calendar. Watch the official launch trailer here, then keep it with Comic Crusaders’ gaming coverage. Vice City is turning the speakers up.
