REMINISCENT: ART OF ZERONIS BRINGS ONE OF GAMING’S MOST CELEBRATED CHARACTER ARTISTS TO DELUXE HARDCOVER

Wepa, Crusaders. If you have ever stopped mid-game, stared at a character design, and thought, “Who the hell made this look this good?” there is a very good chance Paul “Zeronis” Kwon has crossed your screen somewhere along the way.
Clover Press has launched REMINISCENT: ART OF ZERONIS, a 152-page deluxe hardcover celebrating the work of one of modern gaming’s most recognizable character and concept artists. The book pulls together professional work, fan art, personal pieces, character studies, portraits, and original designs into one oversized collection built for people who care about the art behind the worlds they play in.
Zeronis built a major part of his reputation at Riot Games, where his work helped shape fan-favorite League of Legends characters including Ahri, Vi, and Gwen. His influence also stretches into the Star Guardian universe and K/DA, the virtual K-pop group that helped prove gaming characters could become full-blown pop-culture icons outside the game itself.

That crossover is what makes this art book especially interesting. Zeronis does not just draw cool-looking characters. His designs have to communicate attitude, personality, movement, power, fashion, and story before a single line of dialogue is spoken. That is a completely different kind of storytelling, and when it is done right, you feel the character before you even know the lore.

His work has also extended beyond Riot to projects including Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor, giving the book a wider look at how his style evolved across different studios and visual worlds. Clover Press Publisher Hank Kanalz describes Zeronis’s work as a mix of anime-inspired design, semi-realistic rendering, grace, strength, and emotional depth. That sounds like marketing copy until you actually look at the work, and then yeah, the description tracks.

The upgraded edition is not some barebones art dump either. Clover Press is giving the project collector treatment with a limited-edition slipcase, print sets, sticker sheets, a numbered lithograph, and high-end acrylic prints available through select tiers. That makes the campaign feel aimed at both serious art-book collectors and fans who have followed Zeronis since his Riot days.

And for aspiring artists, this is the kind of book that can be dangerous in the best way. You start flipping through character concepts for inspiration, and three hours later you are redesigning your entire sketchbook because somebody made you realize how lazy your silhouettes have been.

REMINISCENT: ART OF ZERONIS is live on Kickstarter now through Clover Press. If you are into gaming art, character design, anime-inspired illustration, K/DA, or just beautifully produced art books, this one absolutely deserves a look.
