The Creep has another double feature ready to mess with your sleep. Skybound and Image Comics have unveiled the first look at Creepshow Vol. 5 #3, and this time the horror comes with a cursed tune, a courtroom nightmare, and the kind of consequences nobody wants on their permanent record. The issue hits comic shops November 18, 2026.

Inspired by Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow television series on Shudder, the comic anthology sticks to the formula fans know and love: two complete, wickedly different tales packed into one issue. There’s no need to drag the terror out when a sharp setup and a nasty payoff can do the job just fine.

The first story comes from Eisner Award-nominated writer Stephanie Williams, whose credits include Roots of Madness, and artist Valentine De Landro of Exquisite Corpses. Their tale follows a struggling musician who discovers a bewitching melody that can keep her fans devoted. Sounds like a dream gig, right? In the world of Creepshow, shortcuts to fame tend to have a price tag nobody reads until it’s too late.

The second story switches gears from the stage to the courtroom. Writer Brian Witten, known for Final Destination, teams with artist Ben Stenbeck of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1953 for the case of a father seeking justice in a judicial system that feels like a curse. Horror built around justice going sideways hits differently because you don’t need a monster under the bed when the whole system can become the nightmare.

Skybound has shared preview interiors for both stories, along with three cover options. The main Cover A is illustrated by Kyle Hotz and Dan Brown. Cover B comes from Valentine De Landro and Marissa Louise, while Cover C is by Luana Vecchio. That lineup should give horror-art collectors plenty to argue about at the shop.

The issue is the third chapter of a five-issue volume, with Brian Witten overseeing the comic series on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions. The larger fifth-volume roster also includes Lorenzo De Felici, Tyler Boss, Francesca Ciregia, Baldemar Rivas, Tyler Crook, Chris Killian, Andrew Sanders, Yasmin Angoe, Joshua Hixson, and Leandro Fernandez. That’s a serious mix of talent for an anthology built to disturb and entertain in equal measure.

The Creepshow comic line has plenty of back catalog for anyone who wants more after this issue. Collected editions of Volumes 1 through 4 are available, along with Creepshow Deluxe Book One, collecting Volumes 1 and 2, and Deluxe Book Two, collecting Volumes 3 and 4. The Super Creepshow collection also gathers Super Creepshow #1–5 and the special.

For collectors keeping track, the paperback collections of Volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4 each carry a suggested retail price of $14.99. The deluxe hardcover editions are priced at $39.99. This new single issue, meanwhile, comes in at $3.99, making it an easy grab for readers who prefer their horror served fresh.

Creepshow Vol. 5 #3 arrives at comic book shops and digital retailers, including Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play, on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. With one story asking how far someone will go for applause and the other questioning what justice costs, this issue has two very different ways to make readers uncomfortable. That’s exactly what a Creepshow comic should do.
