Oni Press Summons SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH #1 for a MIDNIGHT Launch This October

Wepa, Riverdale is about to get a whole lot darker. Oni Press and Archie Comics are turning the October 7 launch of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH #1 into a full-blown midnight event, giving participating comic shops the green light to sell the new series beginning at 12:01 AM. Oni has confirmed the special MIDNIGHT release initiative for Sabrina’s return.

The new ongoing series teams writer Corinna Bechko with artist Kano, but collectors are getting another spell tossed into the cauldron: the first Archie Comics PYRE SATANIC Variant, featuring killer artwork by Chloe Brailsford. Participating retailers can open-order the cover alongside the full Sabrina lineup before the August 31 FOC.

Oni is also matching Marvel’s MIDNIGHT deep-discount incentives, giving retailers another reason to stock up for what could become one of October’s biggest comic-book release nights.

SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH #1 arrives October 7, priced at $4.99 for 32 pages. Sabrina’s back, mi gente, and apparently she ain’t waiting for sunrise.
