Oni Press Summons Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim This Winter in a New Oversized Hardcover Graphic Novel

The sold-out graphic novel from Massive Monster’s JoJo Zhou and Carles Dalmau gets a wide release for fans ready to return to the Land of the Old Faith.

Oni Press is calling all cultists back to the altar this winter with Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim, a full-length original graphic novel created in partnership with Massive Monster and Devolver Digital.

Originally tied to the physical limited-edition version of the acclaimed Pilgrim DLC, this new wide-release edition gives comic fans and longtime followers of the hit game a fresh chance to experience the story without hunting it down like some sacred relic buried in the woods. The Pilgrim Pack has also been presented as an interactive adventure that expands the world of Cult of the Lamb with new and returning characters.

Set deep in the Land of the Old Faith, Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim follows Jalala and Rinor as they search for a place to call home in a world crawling with false prophets, true gods, hungry creatures, strange mushroom peddlers, and cultists looking for fresh sacrifices. So yeah, paradise apparently comes with a body count. Wepa.

Written by Cult of the Lamb Head of Narrative JoJo Zhou and illustrated by official game concept artist Carles Dalmau, Pilgrim offers a new doorway into the twisted, adorable, and deeply cursed universe fans already love. Dalmau is also noted as the illustrator of the Pilgrim comic.

For newcomers, this is an initiation. For longtime fans, it is a sacrament. For everybody else? It is another reminder that Cult of the Lamb knows exactly how to mix cute, creepy, funny, and horrifying into one deliciously unholy stew.

Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim arrives in comic shops and bookstores on December 15, 2026.
