First Look: Ghost Machine Launches Its First Crossover Event With The Trillion Dollar Kid #1

·Al Mega

WEPA! Ghost Machine is not creeping into crossover territory they are kicking the door open with money, mystery, mayhem, and a whole lot of comic book fireworks! Image Comics and Ghost Machine are launching their first-ever crossover event next month with The Trillion Dollar Kid #1, and this one is looking like a major new chapter for one of the most exciting shared universes in comics right now.

Coming from the powerhouse creative team of Geoff Johns, Peter J. Tomasi, and Stefano Simeone, The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 is not just another new release it is the starting pistol for a bigger, bolder Ghost Machine event packed with first appearances, new characters, and universe-expanding energy. This is the kind of issue where collectors start sweating, readers start theorizing, and comic shop pull lists start yelling, “add me before it’s too late!”

Before the big event kicks off, fans can jump into Rocketfellers #0 and Hornsby & Halo #0, which serve as prologues to the crossover while also working as easy entry points for new readers. So if you’ve been curious about Ghost Machine but didn’t know where to start, boom this is your runway, your launchpad, your comic book GPS with no annoying rerouting.

At the center of this madness is Tommy Townsend III, the world’s first 13-year-old trillionaire. Yeah, you read that right thirteen years old and already playing Monopoly with real-life cheat codes. But Tommy is not just sitting around counting money like a tiny CEO in sneakers. He wants to find The Unbelievables, a mysterious group living in a world full of wonder, spectacle, danger, and big questions waiting to be answered.

And of course, Tommy is not rolling solo. He has Sterling, his robot bodyguard, by his side, because when you’re a teenage trillionaire chasing the unknown, you probably need more than a backpack and good intentions. But here’s the twist: Tommy is about to learn that money can buy a lot, but it cannot buy everything. Not purpose. Not truth. Not destiny. And definitely not an easy way out when the universe starts moving around you.

The crossover begins with The Trillion Dollar Kid #1, then keeps the momentum rolling with Hornsby & Halo #14 on Wednesday, June 24, followed by The Rocketfellers #13 on Wednesday, July 22. Then the grand finale lands with The Trillion Dollar Kid #2 on Wednesday, July 29. That’s right, Crusaders this is not a one-and-done little comic book sprinkle. This is a full-course crossover feast with extra sauce.

Ghost Machine has been building something special, and The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 looks ready to turn the volume all the way up. New characters, first appearances, big emotional stakes, a young trillionaire, a robot bodyguard, and a mystery that could shape an entire universe? Yeah, that’s the good stuff.

So hit up your local comic shop, lock in those preorders, and get ready. The Unbelievables are coming, Tommy Townsend III is on the hunt, and Ghost Machine’s first-ever crossover event is about to make some serious noise.
