Hastings Comic Con 2026 Brings Comics, Pop Culture, Creativity, and Full-On Fan Energy to the Coast

Hastings Comic Con 2026 came through swinging, mi gente, as more than 2,000 fans packed the White Rock Theatre across June 20–21 for a weekend loaded with comics, cosplay, TV nostalgia, film magic, and full-on pop culture energy.

Organised by The Guildhall Trust, the two-day celebration built on last year’s debut and leveled up with panels, workshops, displays, immersive experiences, Artist Alley, and enough fandom fuel to power a TARDIS. Red Dwarf legends Chris Barrie, Doug Naylor, and Norman Lovett were a major highlight, packing Studio 27 as fans soaked up behind-the-scenes stories before grabbing photos and autographs.

The weekend also featured Star Wars puppeteer Brian Herring, voice talents Kate Harbour and Marc Silk, Doctor Who Daleks, a Star Wars Scavengers Yard, cosplay parades, independent creators, major comic artists, and even a Ghostbusters Ecto-19 van outside like Hastings said, “Yeah, we’re doing the whole thing.”

Venue Director Nadine Passley celebrated the creativity and community spirit, while Guildhall Trust Events Director Nick Coles praised the record attendance and thanked the fans, guests, partners, and supporters helping put Hastings Comic Con firmly on the map.

Hastings Comic Con will return to the White Rock in June 2027.
