Invincible Universe Heat: Capes #8 Makes This Murder Mystery Personal

WEPA! The Invincible Universe is not playing around, because Capes #8 is pulling Capes, Inc. into a murder mystery that hits way too close to home. Skybound and Image Comics are giving fans a first look at the next wild chapter from writer Benito Cereno, artist/colorist Mark Englert, and letterer Rus Wooton, and this one looks like superhero drama with detective-show pressure turned all the way up.

The big hook? This mystery is personal, and Bolt is not sitting on the bench like somebody’s backup battery. Trouble is in the air, bodies are in the story, and Capes, Inc. is about to find out that saving the day gets messier when the danger knows your name.

Plus, fans get the next chapter of the Ella Mental backup story from Invincible co-creators Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, with colorist Annalisa Leoni, keeping the Invincible Universe momentum blazing.
