Skuxxoid Takes the Spotlight in Void Rivals #31 From Skybound, Image Comics & Hasbro!

WEPA! Skuxxoid is taking center stage, and the Energon Universe is about to get loud, weird, and wonderfully chaotic!

Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have revealed interior pages and a stacked variant cover lineup for Void Rivals #31, the fan-favorite Skuxxoid-focused issue arriving in comic shops on June 24, 2026.

This time, the Skuxxoid Liberators are stepping up with one mission: bring down Skuxxoid Alpha and free their people from tyranny. That’s right, it’s Skuxxoid vs. Skuxxoid, and the cosmic drama is coming with extra seasoning.

From Robert Kirkman, Conor Hughes, Patricio Delpeche, and Rus Wooton, this issue pushes readers deeper into the Energon Universe, where every chapter keeps dropping familiar faces, debuts, and big reveals like comic book grenades.

The cover lineup is no joke either, with work from Lorenzo De Felici, Conor Hughes, Ito, Mirka Andolfo, Chokoo, Adriano Lucas, Andrea Milana, Andres Juarez, Tom Reilly, and more.

Void Rivals is a tentpole of the Energon Universe, the crown jewel of the historic collaboration between Hasbro and Skybound, who has introduced a brand-new era of the TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE franchises in one shared comic book universe. Other Energon Universe ongoing series include the two-time Eisner Award winning TRANSFORMERS by writer Robert Kirkman, artist Jason Howard (The Astounding Wolf-Man), and colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater, Murder Falcon), G.I. JOE by writer Joshua Williamson (Superman, Dark Ride), artist Andrea Milana (Cobra Commander), and colorist Lee Loughridge (Universal Monsters: The Mummy), and the new fourth Energon Universe title, M.A.S.K. by writer Dan Watters (Batman: Dark Patterns), artist Pye Parr (2000 AD), and Pierluigi Casolino (DC vs. Vampires) arriving June 10. Fans should expect can’t-miss moments from every issue of the Energon Universe, as secrets are unveiled along the path to answering the BIG questions from some of the biggest franchises in comics today.
