That Texas Blood Rides Again: Chris Condon & Jacob Phillips Bring Hell to Allison Ranch This September

Wepa, fam dust off the boots and tighten that saddle, because That Texas Blood is riding back into town, and this time? Allison Ranch is about to catch all kinds of hell.

Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips return with That Texas Blood: Hell Comes to Allison Ranch, a brand-new six-issue neo-noir Western chapter launching this September from Image Comics. Sheriff Joe Bob Coates and Deputy Wilson Hart are called to the biggest, richest ranch in the United States, where family drama has officially graduated from side-eye at Thanksgiving to full-blown war.

Set in 2003, the story brings a heist gone wrong, rising tensions, and that slow-burn Ambrose County tension fans love. Condon calls it their most action-packed arc yet, while Phillips says it is a perfect jumping-on point for new readers and a welcome-back ride for the regulars.

Variant covers will include work from Martin Simmonds, Luana Vecchio, Mark Chiarello, and more. Image will also release a deluxe newsprint facsimile edition of issue #1 for fans ready to revisit where the blood first spilled.

The Enfield Gang Massacre, a sister series to That Texas Blood, is set 150 years in the past and features even more gunslinging action and dark frontier drama.
