Amnesia Agents: The Collected Edition Launches a Year-Long Celebration Featuring Definitive Editions, Fresh Stories, and the Debut of The Patrolman
Time Bomb Comics is getting ready to light the fuse on a major milestone as the UK independent publisher prepares to celebrate 20 years of creating and publishing comics.
September 2027 will officially mark the company’s 20th anniversary, but Time Bomb Comics is not waiting until the last minute to get the party started. The celebration begins in September 2026 and will continue throughout the following year, bringing readers a stacked lineup of new releases, returning titles, and definitive editions of books from the publisher’s growing catalogue.
Leading the charge is Amnesia Agents: The Collected Edition, a full-color graphic novel from writer Jason Cobley and artist James Gray. The new edition collects the original 2018 graphic novella, additional stories previously published in Time Bomb Comics’ popular Brawler anthology, and brand-new material created to frame, expand, and complete the story.
The collection will officially launch at High Vis Comic Con in King’s Heath, Birmingham, on September 19, 2026. Cobley and Gray will both be in attendance, giving fans the opportunity to meet the creative team behind one of Time Bomb Comics’ most imaginative concepts.
Amnesia Agents takes the everyday fear of forgetting something important and flips it into a wild science-fiction adventure. In this world, forgotten memories do not simply disappear. They travel to a strange, distant realm known as Echo, a physical place filled with everything humanity has ever lost from its collective mind.

That could mean forgotten algebra lessons, an old phone number, the location of a misplaced set of keys, or, in the worst possible scenario, the whereabouts of some missing nuclear codes. Nothing stays forgotten forever when the Amnesia Agents are on the case.
Unfortunately, valuable memories can also be stolen by sinister forces. When that happens, it falls to Persephone Mills and Theseus Brown to enter the unknown, track down what has been taken, and return those memories before they can be used for something far more dangerous.
Both agents were recruited from traumatic lives they desperately wanted to leave behind, giving the series an emotional edge beneath its high-concept adventure. They may specialize in recovering lost memories, but sometimes forgetting the past feels a whole lot easier than facing it. Remember the names Persephone Mills and Theseus Brown, fam. Assuming somebody has not already swiped them from your brain.

The anniversary celebration will continue with the release of The Patrolman Book One, written by Nick Twyord with artwork by Will Chetwynd. The graphic novel launches a five-book crime series set in a dangerous alternate version of London where gangs have taken control and the city has been sealed off from the outside world.
At the center of the story is Theo Deviant, a retired super-criminal who has found himself facing an unexpected enemy: boredom. The city he once terrorized is now controlled by corrupt corporations that continue trading with the outside world while London’s residents suffer under a system designed to keep the powerful on top.
That arrangement does not sit well with Theo’s anarchist instincts.
He soon realizes that the only person capable of uniting the city and taking down the mysterious Lord Mayor is the Patrolman, Theo’s former vigilante nemesis. There is only one little problem. The Patrolman is dead.
With London sinking deeper into corruption, Theo decides the city needs a new hero. Now the retired criminal must train a successor to wear the Patrolman’s mantle, challenge the gangs, expose the corporations, and take back the streets. Yeah, the supervillain has to build the hero. Talk about your career taking a weird left turn.
The Patrolman Book One will officially launch at the Thought Bubble Comic Convention in Harrogate in November 2026, with Twyord and Chetwynd scheduled to appear at the event.
Both Amnesia Agents: The Collected Edition and The Patrolman Book One will be made available for preorder to comic book readers around the world through upcoming Kickstarter campaigns.
For an independent publisher, reaching 20 years is no small achievement. It takes resilience, creativity, loyal readers, passionate creators, and the ability to keep pushing forward when the industry decides to throw another banana peel onto the sidewalk. Time Bomb Comics is marking the occasion the right way, not by simply looking back, but by bringing past stories forward, launching new worlds, and showing readers exactly why the fuse is still burning.
The countdown to Time Bomb Comics’ 20th anniversary has officially begun, and judging by these first two releases, the publisher plans to make plenty of noise before the big celebration arrives.
