Vault Comics is sending readers into a wild new sci-fi adventure packed with cryptids, time-bending madness, and enough mystery to make your pull list start sweating. Mi gente, Project Perseus is coming in hot.

WEPA! Vault Comics is about to send readers straight into the weird zone with Project Perseus, a brand-new cryptid sci-fi comic series from writer Jack Mulqueen, artist Edison Neo, colorist Kike J. Díaz, letterer Buddy Beaudoin, and designer Tim Daniel. This ain’t your average monster-hunting stroll through the woods, fam. We’re talking treacherous jungles, frozen oceans, deadly dive bars, time-travel chaos, and enough comic book insanity to make your pull list start sweating.

The story follows Slug Stephens, a disgraced cryptid hunter who has to crawl out of a decade-long bender when a former ally runs off with a time-traveling device. So yeah, not exactly a quiet Tuesday, mi gente. Now Slug has to chase monsters, memories, and betrayal across eras before everything goes full cosmic disaster.

Mulqueen says the goal was to make a comic so wild, so ridiculous, and so visually explosive that Hollywood would need a GoFundMe just to attempt it. Respect. Edison Neo, meanwhile, is bringing the madness to life with massive action, wild creatures, rich characters, and comic-first storytelling built for big panels, killer layouts, and pure visual mayhem.

Project Perseus debuts this September with a giant 40-page first issue and variant covers from Esad Ribic, Brett Bean, Jorge Corona, Garth Graham, and Pete Caroll. Cryptids, comics, chaos, pull up. This one sounds like a beautiful problem.
