Freestyle Digital Media Summons Blood Magick for an August VOD Release

·Al Mega

Scream queen Victoria De Mare joins a foul-mouthed witch, practical monsters, killer costumes, and one supernatural mystery arriving across North American VOD platforms on August 11, 2026.

Witches, monsters, murder, and a warehouse packed with costumes that refuse to stay dead. Freestyle Digital Media has acquired the North American VOD rights to Blood Magick, a supernatural horror-comedy written and directed by Micah Delhauer.

The film will make its digital debut on August 11, 2026, across digital HD internet, DVD, cable, and satellite platforms throughout North America.

Blood Magick follows Aisling, a beer-guzzling, foul-mouthed witch who wakes up with a vicious headache, five terrified strangers watching her, and something distinctly inhuman trying to smash its way through the door.

Aisling and her reluctant companions have taken refuge inside a massive costume warehouse. It appears to be the perfect place to hide until a malevolent force begins bringing the costumes to homicidal life. Every doorway becomes a threat, every shadow could be hiding another monster, and the warehouse quickly transforms from sanctuary to supernatural slaughterhouse.

Despite having very little patience for the people around her, Aisling is forced into the role of protector. Using her magical abilities, questionable attitude, and survival instincts, she attempts to keep the group alive while waves of practical creatures close in around them.

The situation becomes even more dangerous when Aisling begins to suspect the demonic siege is not random. Someone inside the warehouse may be controlling the creatures and manipulating the survivors from within.

What begins as a frantic fight for survival soon mutates into a supernatural whodunit. Fear turns into suspicion, suspicion becomes paranoia, and the survivors begin turning against one another while the monsters continue pounding at the gates.

To escape, Aisling must uncover the identity of the real enemy and destroy them before she and the remaining survivors are torn apart.

Written and directed by Micah Delhauer, Blood Magick was produced by brothers James and Micah Delhauer. Frances Parsons stars as Aisling, the film’s reluctant, hard-drinking magical heroine.

The movie also features a guest appearance by scream queen Victoria De Mare as The Proprietress, a mysterious and seductive oracle. The supporting cast includes Laura Delhauer as Charlotte, Alen Kolenovic as Dolan, Natalie Beisner as Harper, Joe Salling as Seth, and Michael Minto as Liam.

“Blood Magick is meant, first and foremost, to be fun,” said director Micah Delhauer. “It’s dark, it’s edgy, it’s scary, it’s funny. It’s got awesome practical monsters and a kickass heroine, one we think people will really take to heart. This movie is the product of two brothers, and their very dedicated cast and crew, who just wanted to give you a good time.”

That mission comes through loud and clear. Blood Magick is serving up a wild cocktail of practical monster effects, dark comedy, occult chaos, and a heroine who would probably rather finish her drink than save anybody. Unfortunately for Aisling, the monsters did not get that memo.

Freestyle Digital Media negotiated the acquisition of Blood Magick directly with the filmmakers and Conduit Inc.

Additional information is available through the official Blood Magick website.

Blood Magick arrives across North American digital HD internet, DVD, cable, and satellite platforms on August 11, 2026.
