SILENT HILL: TOWNFALL DESCENDS INTO 2000 AD WITH OFFICIAL PREQUEL COMIC “THE DOCK HOUSE”
·Gabriel Mateo

Crusaders, if the fog rolling over SILENT HILL: Townfall was not already making you uncomfortable, KONAMI just found another way to drag us deeper into St. Amelia before the game even arrives.
KONAMI and legendary British comics publisher 2000 AD have teamed up for SILENT HILL: Townfall – The Dock House, an official comic story written by Townfall lead writer and game director Jon McKellan, with pencils by acclaimed artist David Roach. The story will appear in the milestone 2000 AD Prog 2500 and serves as a narrative companion to the upcoming game.
This is not some random promotional side story slapped together because somebody remembered comics exist. The Dock House expands the world of St. Amelia while deliberately keeping the game’s larger mysteries under wraps.

The story follows Douglas, a veteran harbour master who has spent decades maintaining St. Amelia’s dock house. Fog, isolation and routine are already doing their thing when Douglas discovers an impossible staircase descending beneath the harbour. Because apparently the correct response to Silent Hill giving you a mysterious staircase into the darkness is still, somehow, to go investigate it.
2000 AD Editor In Chief Matt Smith called Silent Hill’s atmospheric horror a natural fit for the publisher, while McKellan described the collaboration as both a chance to expand Townfall and a personal milestone as a writer. Considering the game is set on the remote Scottish island of St. Amelia, pairing it with one of Britain’s most enduring comic institutions makes a hell of a lot of sense.
Releasing on PlayStation®5, Steam®, and Epic Games Store on September 24, 2026, fans can pre-purchase SILENT HILL: Townfall. For more information, visit the official website.
The game itself follows shortly after, with SILENT HILL: Townfall releasing September 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
So before we even get our hands on the controller, St. Amelia is already opening doors that probably should have stayed shut. Or staircases, apparently.
Either way, mi gente, the fog is getting thicker.
