Come on now. Vampires and pirates? That title did not knock on the door, it kicked it open wearing fangs and a captain’s hat. Vampyrates! #1 is the kind of comic book madness we live for — bold, weird, fun, dangerous, and impossible to ignore. Sometimes comics need to be prestige. Sometimes they need to be ridiculous in the best way possible. This one feels like a midnight movie on paper, and I am here for the chaos.

🔥 Big Two Heat

Clayface: Celebrity Dirt #1

DC gives Basil Karlo the spotlight in a story that sounds like Hollywood horror, identity crisis, and Gotham tragedy thrown into one ugly-beautiful blender. Clayface is one of those characters who can be scary, sad, strange, and spectacular all at once. This could be a sleeper hit.

Absolute Batman #22

The Absolute line continues to be DC’s heavy hitter, and Batman remains the bat-shaped wrecking ball at the center of it all. Expect big action, big stakes, and that “yeah, I need to keep reading this” energy.

Fantastic Four: First Foes – Shalla-Bal #1

Marvel goes cosmic with a spotlight connected to Silver Surfer mythology. Love, tragedy, power, and space drama? That is Fantastic Four territory all day.

Daredevil #4

Matt Murdock continues to prove that street-level Marvel still hits different. When Daredevil is on the shelf, expect guilt, fists, faith, pain, and somebody getting kicked through emotional damage.

X-Men ’97: Season Two #2
