NYCC 2026 GOES BROADWAY WITH WICKED, THE LOST BOYS, THE NOTEBOOK AND MORE

Crusaders, New York Comic Con is not just bringing comics, movies and cosplay to the Javits Center this year. Broadway is crashing the party too.
Impact24 PR is bringing back its Broadway To Hollywood: A Look at the New Age of Musicals panel for NYCC 2026, giving attendees a behind-the-scenes look at how stage musicals, film, television and live entertainment actually get built from the creative side.
The panel takes place Thursday, October 8 at 11:45 a.m. ET in Room 406.1 at the Javits Center and features creators whose credits stretch across Wicked, Wicked: For Good, The Lost Boys, The Notebook, Some Like It Hot, An Evening with Jeff Goldblum and more.
Scheduled panelists include orchestrator and music supervisor Bryan Carter, Wicked music director and arranger Stephen Oremus, music supervisor and orchestrator Ethan Popp, composer and conductor Charlie Rosen, and choreographer Katie Spelman. The conversation will be moderated by Katharine Quinn, founder and CEO of And That’s Showbiz.

The focus is the process behind the spectacle: how music directors, arrangers, orchestrators, supervisors and choreographers collaborate to turn an idea into something audiences actually feel when the lights go down.
Impact24 PR is also hosting a Behind the Camera House Film, TV & Broadway Creatives Meet Up later that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. ET, giving entertainment professionals and creatives another chance to connect during NYCC weekend.
This is exactly the kind of programming that makes NYCC more interesting when it stretches beyond one corner of pop culture. Comics, Broadway, movies, television, music and fandom all keep borrowing from each other anyway, so putting the people who build those experiences in one room makes a whole lot of sense.
If you are attending NYCC and want to know how the magic gets assembled before it reaches the stage or screen, this panel deserves a spot on the schedule.
